Oregon replaced the familiar VINELink workflow with the Victim Information System in Oregon, called VISOR. The service searches people currently in custody or under supervision within participating data. It can show custody or supervision status, location, identifying details, a projected release date when applicable, and notification events. Its home page also warns about offline jails, so no online match is not proof that release occurred.
VISOR is an Oregon custody and supervision tool. It is not the federal BOP locator, an ICE history, or a complete jail release archive. A person fully discharged from custody and supervision may no longer fall within its stated public search scope. For historical Harney jail release facts, request the county booking event. No reviewed VISOR source establishes that the current Oregon workflow always uses a legacy VINE PIN. Follow the verification prompt actually displayed. Never publish another person's alert contact details or registration credentials.
Confirm Harney VINE Alerts
DOC describes certain VISOR updates as near-real-time and says changed release dates, moves, and releases may update every two hours. That is not instantaneous. Call Harney County Jail for a county booking event or contact DOC for a state prison release when the exact time or legal status matters.
For federal custody, use the BOP locator or federal case and USMS route. For an immigration transfer documented by Harney County, use ICE's locator and ERO. Those systems cover only their own custody. A local roster disappearance does not establish a federal release.

The official explanation supports rechecking OOS after a VISOR notice and preserving old and new screens only as dated snapshots.
A changed PRD does not itself prove a release. Confirm the current DOC calculation, complete judgment, and later action. When confinement ends, VISOR may transition to supervision, which is not the same as final discharge.
Resolve a Missing Harney Result
A missing VISOR record has several possible causes. The jail may be offline, the name may differ, a county ID may be needed, data entry may still be underway, or the person may have completed the system's current custody and supervision scope. A lawful seal can also restrict access. None of these possibilities proves release.
Call Harney County Jail at 541-573-6056 for a recent local booking. Ask whether the person remains in county custody, was released to the community, or transferred.
